Tesla Brought Us Home with the “Keepin’ It Real” 2024 Tour

Sacramento’s own TESLA came home (sort of) with their “Keepin’ It Real’ 2024 Tour, playing to a packed house at The Venue at Thunder Valley in Lincoln, California last Saturday, November 9, 2024. And, in true style and fashion, TESLA rocked it.

Let’s start with the opening act: FUEL. If you grew up in the 90’s and you DON’T know who FUEL is, then your childhood was probably very boring. Now, you may not remember their name, but you would never forget their songs.  Well, the band has been on hiatus and they have triumphantly returned with singer AARON SCOTT (from The Voice) on vocals, joining original members Carl Bell (guitar) and Kevin Miller (drums). FUEL’s latest album (I think released in 2022) Anomaly showcases the grunginess of the band in the 90’s with bursts of melodic hooks and a new freshness which perfectly sums up their set last Saturday night.

Next, TESLA took the stage. TESLA has always been respected for their musicianship, strong songwriting, and ability to adapt over the years. TESLA’S music is known for its sincerity and lack of over-the-top theatrics. They've built a loyal fan base that has supported them through the ups and downs of their career. And they were all there last Saturday night.

Jeff Keith of TESLA

The “KEEPIN’ IT REAL” tour delivered an electrifying experience for rock fans, old and new alike. And, in true TESLA fashion, their energetic performance had the entire crowd on their feet and fist pumping wildly in the air (even security got into it!).

Their last studio album was “Shock” in 2019. The band has been continuously touring. Fronted by Jeff Keith, along with longtime members Frank Hannon, Dave Rude, Brian Wheat, and drummer Steve Brown, TESLA brought their high-energy performance to The Venue at Thunder Valley in Lincoln, California with a mix of classic anthems along with new material, staying true to the band's roots while celebrating their enduring legacy. I feel sorry for you if you missed this show. Check them out when you can!
