August 28, 2023 - Sacramento’s WILL HAVEN kicked off their Carpe Diem/VII Tour in their hometown of Sacramento, California last Thursday. The venue, Old Ironsides, is the oldest bar in town and it is proud of the “Best Dive Bar in Sacramento” title. And for good reason! The food is good and the live music is even better!

Enter Will Haven! A Dark Metal band formed in 1995, WILL HAVEN is touring in support of their acclaimed seventh LP, VII, which saw release in July through Minus Head Records. Arguably WILL HAVEN’s heaviest and darkest material to date, the ten songs on VII take longtime fans back to their earliest records, while expanding on the atmospheric and immersive qualities of the band’s output.

WILL HAVEN plays tomorrow night in San Diego at Brick by Brick. Go see them if you are in town. If you miss them, they have several other tour dates coming up, like August 31st at the iconic DNA Lounge in San Francisco. Then, after that, they are gone from California. Maybe you can catch them in the UK?
